Meet Dr. Allison Faust
Aiding in augmenting the human-animal bond along with providing positive patient experiences are paramount in Dr. Allison Faust’s focuses as a veterinarian. She appreciates the critical roles animals play in the lives of people and aims to help preserve and support these special relationships. She grew up in Lancaster County, PA where she loved spending her time outdoors surrounded by wildlife and local farm animals. At a young age, her sister was diagnosed with epilepsy, which exposed Dr. Faust to the medical field. Her desire to become a veterinarian was realized after observing the benefits that both traditional medicine and animals had on her sister’s journey to living a seizure-free life.
A Hershey High School alumna, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh (Hail to Pitt!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences. While there, she also earned Minors in Chemistry and Religious Studies along with a Certificate in Leadership. Her passion for leadership translated to her work as a Resident Assistant as she received the 2014-2015 Veteran Resident Assistant of the Year award from Pitt’s Residence Life. From there, she earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.
Throughout her time college and veterinary school, Dr. Faust traveled throughout the world learning and providing care for animals in many countries including Ecuador, Thailand, and Australia.
Dr. Faust’s professional interests include ophthalmology, surgery, and equine medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA).
In her free time, Dr. Faust enjoys spending time with her significant other, Tommy, and their beautiful long-haired adopted cat, Sheba. Together, they enjoy reading, traveling, visiting National Parks, watching documentaries and movies, binging new shows on Netflix, and spoiling their cat.
