Dr. Mayoral was born in Madrid, Spain, but she was raised in the south of Spain, in a town called el Puerto de Santa María. She can´t remember a time she didn’t want to be a veterinarian, as she was always surrounded by animals and felt fascinated by them. From an early age, she was always eager to learn more and more about them.

She obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Córdoba, Spain. After graduating, she worked as a general practitioner and also obtained training and operated an MRI system for another animal hospital.

In 2015 Dr. Mayoral moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and after obtaining her license to practice continued working in private practice. She also volunteered her services as a veterinarian at a large cat refuge, The Catty Shack Ranch Sanctuary, in Jacksonville. There she got to enjoy working on many wild animals, including African lions and Siberian tigers.

She recently moved to New Jersey with her husband and her ´furry babies´; ´Pepper´, a pitbull mix; ´Lua´, a border collie mix; ´Khaleesi´, a food loving tabby and ´Karma´, the fuzzy queen of the house. On her days off she enjoys exploring the surrounding area, hiking with her husband and dogs, and traveling.

Her main professional interests are internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and feline medicine. Dr. Mayoral is excited to get to meet you all and your pets and treat them as she would her own!
